Capital Works Program (SFPJV)

The SFP is a joint venture between Abergeldie, Downer and Stantec - together we are delivering the Melbourne Water Capital Works Program, a long term program valued at approximately $500 million. 

The position of Construction Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects within program and providing sound financial, commercial and project management guidance to the team. This permanent full time role will be based in West Melbourne and report to the Services Manager.

THE ROLE

  • Guide, review and analyse changing needs and requirements whilst maintaining short- and long-term focus on Program deliverables.
  • Mentor and guide the Project Delivery team to identify resource requirements to ensure projects are adequately equipped.
  • Champion collaborative and inclusive leadership within your direct reports and project delivery team..
  • Review deliverables and ensure projects are on track, ensure quality delivery of planning, scheduling and project requirements

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated Construction Manager experience in Water/wastewater treatment plants and civil projects (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience in construction of multiple concurrent large scale water projects valued from $5M to in excess of $20m
  • Bachelor in Civil/Mechanical Engineering
  • Understanding of water/waste water projects and treatment plant operations.
  • Inclusive leadership, exceptional communication and people skills.
