About the opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a talented Community and Engagement Advisor to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of the Railway Terrace Project.
As part of the NorthWest Growth Area, Abergeldie has been engaged to deliver the Railway Terrace upgrade, which includes widening Railway Terrace. The upgrade works will include the replacement of eight water main packages, installation of a new stormwater drainage system, and adjustment and protection of existing utilities such as Telstra, NBN, and AARNet.
This is a full time, site based role in Blacktown, with the potential to move across other projects over time. You will work collaboratively with our project and management teams and be the on the ground point of contact for the community and residents, implementing project specific communication action plans to effectively engage with stakeholders and local community.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Experience in a stakeholder engagement, community relations, or communications role ideally with experience working on Civil Infrastructure projects.
- Qualifications in communications, public relations, community engagement, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse stakeholders, and capacity to influence stakeholders and foster engagement.
- A forward-thinking and innovative approach, coupled with creative problem-solving abilities, underpinned by a strong focus on delivery and results.
