About our Pipeline Renewals Team
Our Pipeline Renewals team delivers end to end rehabilitation and replacement services across water, sewer and stormwater utility assets. With specialist experience in trenchless technology, pipe bursting, directional drilling and other leading technologies we have a highly experienced Renewals team who provide a strong technical solution to our clients.
About the opportunity
As our pipeline of works continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer or Project Manager to lead water renewals projects for Southeast Water. Based at either our Dingley Village or Tullamarine office, the role involves regular travel across projects throughout Melbourne’s Southeast.
In this role, you will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and take ownership of commercial performance, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting. Building strong client and supplier relationships, you will drive collaboration, manage risks, and deliver on contractual commitments, while finding practical solutions that add value for clients.
What you’ll bring to the team
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects, preferably with hands-on experience in Water Renewals.
- Proven capability in leading site-based project teams.
- Commercially astute with strong program management skills, driving projects to achieve time, cost, and quality targets.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and negotiation, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Unwavering commitment to safety.
