Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the Project
This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Refresh Vaucluse and Diamond Bay project. Below the cliffs of Vaucluse and Diamond Bay, wastewater flows directly into the ocean untreated, we are working with Sydney Water to ensure this iconic area of Sydney gets the clean, blue backyard it deserves, improving the harbour and coastal water quality, as well as protecting the health of the community and marine ecology.
Under the Refresh Vaucluse Diamond Bay project, we are building new infrastructure to divert the flows from the last three remaining ocean outfalls in Sydney to the Bondi Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF). The project scope includes:
- 1 new pump station in Parsley Bay.
- 1.8km of HDD pipelines.
- Upgrade existing infrastructure such us vent shafts and manholes.
About the opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a talented Site Engineer to join our team in Vacluse and play a key role in the successful delivery of this project.
You’ll play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects that make a real difference to communities. Working closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and site teams, you’ll help ensure our projects run like clockwork - on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Assist with site planning, daily programming, and resource coordination.
- Manage site documentation, including drawings, reports, and registers.
- Oversee procurement processes and track material deliveries.
- Support the implementation of ITPs, SWMS, and safety protocols.
- Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance.
- Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) compliance.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Construction experience, ideally in civil infrastructure.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings and manage site documentation.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and HSEQ requirements.
- A Construction Induction (White Card) and a valid Australian driver’s license.
