About the Safety team

About the project

Abergeldie is one of two Construction Partners selected by WaterNSW to deliver their Asset, Renewals and Replacement Program (ARRP). Under the ARRP, Abergeldie is delivering multi-disciplinary packages varying in size and complexity, spread across a large geographical footprint in NSW. The scope is vast and includes, but is not limited to, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical minor capital works and rehabilitation.

About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor to join our team, supporting the ARRP program. In this role, you will provide practical on-site support to our delivery teams in Sydney while offering strategic guidance to leaders across the program.

Your contributions will be key to ensuring compliance and fostering a proactive safety culture by:

• Working directly with the delivery teams on-site in Sydney to provide expert HSE advice and practical solutions.
• Collaborating proactively with our leadership team, client, and Safety Advisors across the program to ensure comprehensive safety coverage and alignment.
• Coaching and mentoring team members to strengthen their safety practices.
• Driving continuous improvement in safety processes and embedding best practices across all projects.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Extensive experience as a Senior HSE Advisor, with significant on-site experience within the construction industry.
• Experience working on water infrastructure projects (highly desirable).
• Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or higher).
• Construction Induction White Card.
• C Class Driver’s License.
• Proficiency in WH&S system management.
• Membership and/or certification with a relevant professional body (desirable).
• A passion for driving safety excellence and fostering a proactive safety culture.
