About the opportunity 

Your duties as Carpenter will include - 

• Perform formwork, framing, and finishing for civil construction projects.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Install timber, plywood, and composite structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with work health and safety (WHS) regulations.
• Work collaboratively with site teams and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Hourly rate $35.35 - $38.73 per hour (for first 8 hours) + overtime + $35 travel + $29.50 meal allowance per day
• Permanent Fulltime role

What you’ll bring to the team

• Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of post-trade experience in construction carpentry.
• Experience in civil infrastructure, formwork, and concrete structures is highly regarded.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
