Quality Assurance Engineer
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on the New Dubbo Bridge Project!

Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team on the New Dubbo Bridge Project, which will deliver a second high-level river crossing to improve travel efficiency, reduce congestion, and enhance flood resilience for the Dubbo community.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting project delivery through effective quality management. You’ll be responsible for implementing and maintaining project quality systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards, and working closely with engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to drive continuous improvement.
This position is based on site in Dubbo, with options for FIFO/DIDO from Sydney (including accommodation and LAFHA where applicable).
Day-to-day, you’ll:
- Manage and monitor project quality documentation, including ITPs, checklists, and NCRs.
- Support engineers and site teams to ensure works are carried out in line with quality requirements.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing to verify compliance with design and client expectations.
- Identify and report non-conformances and assist in developing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of quality and continual improvement.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience in a QA/QC role on civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian standards, TfNSW specifications and quality systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong reporting and communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to build positive working relationships.
